Argan oil is obtained from the fruits of Argania spinosa, an evergreen shrub native to Morocco. The oil, slightly darker than olive oil, has a pronounced toasted aroma and a characteristic hazelnut flavor.
It contains more than 80% unsaturated fatty acids (oleic up to 50%, linoleic up to 40%, and linolenic max 0.3%), while among the saturated the major components are palmitic (about 15%) and stearic (max 12%). It is also rich in tocopherols, flavonoids, carotenoids and xanthophylls, sterols and triterpenes.
The antioxidant compounds give this oil a high stability against oxidative processes, which explains its better shelf life.
In cosmetics, Argan oil is used for its dermatological and functional properties: quick absorption, softness on the skin, smoothness and silkiness. Hydration and the barrier effect on the skin remain high over time, ensuring benefit and nourishment to dehydrated skins.
Thanks to its high content of essential fatty acids and vitamin E, it is able to protect the epidermis from external aggressions, neutralizing free radicals and ensuring hydration and lipid supply to the skin.
The emollient properties make it suitable for preventing skin laxity, and it will also find use in the preparation of anti-stretch mark and firming products.
In hair care, it is used for treating dry, brittle, weak, and dull hair.
It can be used as a massage oil, alone or mixed with other oils, as a carrier for essential oils, or as a component of the fatty phase in cosmetic preparations.
Applied to the skin, it is a safe ingredient at any concentration of use.

How can I know when my order will arrive?
You can track your order shipment using the tracking code you will receive via email. The courier will make two delivery attempts, after which the package will be stored at the nearest GLS office. In this case, you will need to pick up the package from the office to avoid the order being returned to us and incurring additional costs.

If you wish to return a product, you can send back the unopened, unused, and undamaged product. If the returned product is not in perfect condition, the product amount cannot be refunded. Shipping costs for the original order will not be refunded. The partnered courier GLS will collect the goods purchased on pillolastore.com from the OMEOSEI Srl warehouse. The delivery address is specified during the order confirmation (checkout) by the customer. Please fill in the destination details correctly to avoid failed deliveries or storage issues.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are €0.99 for orders over €25 and €5.99 for orders below €25. Please note that shipments are not insured.
