Preservative-free hyperosmolar ophthalmic solution.
It is recommended for reducing corneal edema of post-operative and post-traumatic types, as well as those caused by corneal dystrophy. Corneal edema occurs when the cornea exhibits abnormal fluid accumulation.
The hyper saline ODM 5 solution exploits the osmotic effect to draw excess fluids out of the cornea, allowing it to temporarily regain an optimal hydration state. ODM 5 thus contributes to the improvement of visual quality.
Contains sodium hyaluronate, a component naturally present in the eye, which helps protect the cornea thanks to its lubricating properties.
How to use
Wash your hands thoroughly before proceeding with instillation.
At first use, verify that the safety ring is intact and then remove it. Remove the protective cap by pulling upward. Place the bottle above the eye, with the tip pointing downward. Hold the bottle in the center with your thumb and index finger. Gently press, applying gradual force to the bottle with your thumb and index finger until a drop of ophthalmic solution comes out.
Instill 1-2 drops 4 times a day, according to medical prescription. Instill the drops into the lower conjunctival sac of the eye, looking upward and gently pulling down the lower eyelid. After instillation, keep the eye closed for 1-2 minutes.
Replace the protective cap after each use, ensuring no residual drops remain on the tip; if needed, make them fall off with a decisive wrist movement.
Avoid contact of the bottle tip with the eye and eyelids.
No rinsing is necessary after use.
Components
Sodium chloride 5%, sodium hyaluronate 0.15%.
Other components: purified water, disodium citrate, monohydrate, citric acid monohydrate, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.
Warnings
Do not swallow.
Do not use the bottle if damaged.
Do not use after the expiration date printed on the bottle. Carefully reseal the bottle after each use, making sure no residual drops remain on the tip.
Avoid contact of the bottle tip with hands, eyes, and eyelids. Avoid touching or drying the tip with fingers or non-sterile cloth.
If the doctor has prescribed another eye drop, keep an interval of at least 15 minutes between instillations.
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to any component and contact lenses (ODM 5 is not compatible with contact lenses).
In some cases, during instillation, temporary disturbances may occur such as a slight burning or itching sensation, as well as momentary blurred vision. If side effects persist or if unwanted effects not described in the leaflet occur, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor.

Store at room temperature (between +2 °C and +25 °C).

You can track your order shipment using the tracking code you will receive via email. The courier will make two delivery attempts, after which the package will be stored at the nearest GLS office. If you wish to return a product, you can send back the unopened, unused, and undamaged product. If the returned product is not in perfect condition, the product amount cannot be refunded. Shipping costs for the original order will not be refunded. GLS and BRT Express Courier for Pickup/Delivery Service
The partnered couriers GLS or BRT will collect the goods purchased on pillolastore.com from the OMEOSEI Srl warehouse. The delivery address is specified during the order confirmation (checkout) by the customer. Please fill in the destination details correctly to avoid failed deliveries or storage issues.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are €0.99 for orders over €25 and €5.99 for orders below €25. Please note that shipments are not insured.
