MONODOSE EYE DROPS

Indications
distilled water of chamomile flowers. Useful as a protective, lubricating, and soothing agent for irritated eyes. Prevents ocular irritation, alleviates redness and the burning sensation due to offensive external agents or prolonged visual strain. Particularly indicated for those suffering from "dry eye" (decreased quality and quantity of tear production).
It is also indicated for frequent use, several times a day. The monodose product is for single patient use.
Without preservatives and colorants.
      Liguflos
Lyophilized extract of female ligulate flowers of Chamomile.
The study of the biochemical characteristics of the chamomile flower head has highlighted that the ligules, commonly known as "petals", are particularly rich in the polysaccharide component, in quantities greater than that of the whole flower head. Since it is the polysaccharides that are the main substances responsible for hydrating and protective activity.
      Distilled chamomile water
The distilled waters, also known as Hydrolates, are obtained following steam distillation of the fresh plant and represent the aqueous fraction that separates from the essential oil. The distilled water of Chamomile obtained from fresh flowers is filtered and is used for its moisturizing properties; it also contributes to the refreshing properties of the product.
      Hyaluronic acid
It is a component present in connective tissues such as skin, joints, and the vitreous body of the eye. The fundamental characteristic of this substance is to create a molecular scaffold with a high capacity for hydration and lubrication. For the skin, for example, it maintains the tone and plasticity of the subcutaneous tissue, for the joints, it allows for proper gliding of the parts subjected to movement, and on the eye it reduces friction during blinking.
      Vegetable glycerin
From the hydrolysis of vegetable oils, two components are obtained: fatty acids and glycerin or glycerol. The latter compound is characterized by moisturizing and humectant properties due to its pronounced ability to bind with water and to retain it for a long time on the cells it comes into contact with, limiting dehydration.

Mode of use
It is recommended to instill 2-3 drops in each eye by gently pressing the bottle, from one to three times a day. The monodose container is resealable, so once opened, it can be resealed and used within 12 hours. The closure system of the monodose is specially patented to prevent unwanted opening.
For correct use of the product, follow these instructions:
- open the monodose by rotating the cap counterclockwise;
- apply the product by gently pressing the monodose vial;
- to reseal the monodose, turn the cap upside down and insert it by pressing firmly on the body of the monodose.

Warnings
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components.
The product is for ophthalmic use only.
During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing end of the container.
In case of disturbances during use, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and protected from light.
Once opened, the monodose container can be resealed and used within 12 hours.
The expiration date refers to the intact product and properly stored.
