Libramed is a medical device useful for the treatment of overweight and obesity in adults and children over 8 years old, capable of acting by slowing down and reducing the amount and speed of absorption of fats and carbohydrates.
Its weight-loss action is made possible thanks to the presence of Policaptil Gel Retard, a patented complex of macromolecular polysaccharides capable of creating a gel that limits the absorption of lipids and sugars in order to reduce post-meal blood sugar levels and waist circumference, also controlling hunger and promoting body weight balance.
Furthermore, thanks to its retard effect that slows down the absorption rate of fats, it is a valuable support to promote normal intestinal transit and regulate stool consistency to prevent episodes of constipation.
For this reason, its intake is recommended in combination with a balanced low-calorie diet, adequate fluid intake, and regular physical activity, to promote weight loss, especially in the presence of pathological conditions.
HOW TO TAKE LIBRAMED
Adults and teenagers over 12 years old: take 3 tablets before lunch and 3 tablets before dinner, to be swallowed with a generous glass of water.
Children between 8 and 12 years old: take 2 tablets before lunch and 2 tablets before dinner, to be swallowed with a generous glass of water.
It is recommended to continue the treatment for at least 2 months, taking care to suspend intake for 2 or 3 days after each month.
In case of swallowing difficulty, it is possible to dissolve the tablets in warm water or unsweetened herbal teas, stirring until complete dissolution and drinking within a few minutes, before the gel forms.
In case of taking other medications or dietary supplements, it is advisable to take Libramed at least 2 hours apart.
The tablets in the package allow you to continue treatment for 5 weeks.

Side effects of Libramed
In some rare cases, during the first days of treatment, bloating phenomena may occur which tend to resolve spontaneously with continued treatment.
In these cases, it is recommended to reduce the treatment to 1 tablet after lunch and 1 tablet after dinner, gradually increasing the dosage until reaching a total of 6 tablets per day.
Contraindications of Libramed
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product.
Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
For those with swallowing problems, direct ingestion of the tablets is discouraged, which should be previously dissolved as described in the directions for use.
In individuals undergoing pharmacological treatment for diabetes and hyperlipidemia, it is recommended to consult a doctor to evaluate the need for possible dosage adjustments of medications.
