Acidif

Dietary supplement based on L-methionine and concentrated dry extract of Canadian cranberry (cranberry) with high proanthocyanidin content.
Helps promote the correct functionality of the urinary system, creating unfavorable conditions for the development and proliferation of bacteria. It is presented in Retard tablets with gradual release and with gastroprotective coating. This optimizes tolerability and ensures a constant release over time of its components.
      L-Methionine
It is one of the essential amino acids and, as such, is an important component of the human body. L-Methionine, which our body cannot produce and must be introduced from external sources, is the only essential amino acid that contains sulfur in its formula. The availability of L-Methionine (as a sulfur donor) in sufficient amounts is the necessary condition for the biosynthesis of cysteine, a sulfur-containing amino acid. A large number of Gram-negative bacteria can alkalinize the urine through the enzymatic degradation of urea, thereby creating conditions favorable for their growth. The maintenance of a physiological pH achieved by the action of L-methionine can create unfavorable conditions for bacterial colonization.
      Cranberry
Recent studies have focused on the antibacterial effects of Canadian cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon - cranberry) directed at the adhesiveness of certain bacteria to the urinary epithelium. Women suffering from recurrent urinary infections appear to be particularly sensitive to the adhesion of uropathogenic bacteria. Uropathogenic strains rely on the adhesion of P-fimbriae to allow colonization and the related infectious process. According to these studies, the proanthocyanidins of cranberry may prevent the adhesion of P-fimbriae of uropathogenic strains of E. coli.

Method of use
It is recommended to take one tablet twice a day: 1 tablet in the evening before bedtime and 1 tablet in the morning upon waking.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children under three years old.
Supplements should not be considered as substitutes for a varied diet.
For pregnant or breastfeeding women and children, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
