Description
Dietary food intended for special medical purposes, for the dietary management of phenylketonuria in children from 6 months of age onward, in adults with confirmed phenylketonuria and/or hyperphenylalaninemia and maternal phenylketonuria.
Amino acid blend free of phenylalanine supplemented with vitamins, minerals, selenium, taurine, and carnitine.

Directions for use
Dosage: according to medical prescription, considering the patient's age, body weight, degree of phenylalaninemia, and clinical conditions.
To obtain a gel
1) Pour the contents of a sachet into a glass. If desired, flavor to taste.
2) Add about 30 ml of cold water. Mix well for about 10 seconds.
3) To obtain a creamy gel, let it rest for about 2 minutes. The reconstituted gel can be consumed as is with a teaspoon or mixed with other permitted foods. For best results, it should be prepared and consumed immediately when possible. If necessary, the reconstituted product can be stored for 24 hours in the refrigerator and stirred well before use.
To obtain a drink.
1) Pour the contents of a sachet into a glass. If desired, flavor to taste.
2) Add about 80 ml of cold water. Mix well for about 10 seconds.
3) Drink immediately.
The powder contained in a sachet, once opened, should be completely consumed. Any excess should be stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours.

Warnings
Should be used under strict medical supervision, by people with confirmed phenylketonuria.
The product cannot be the sole source of nutrition. The diet must be supplemented with natural proteins, water, and other nutrients in the prescribed quantities to provide phenylalanine, fluids, and other necessary nutrients.
Not for intravenous use.
Keep out of reach of children under 3 years old.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and direct heat sources.
Shelf life when intact: 24 months.
