Dietary food intended for special medical purposes that provides a mixture of amino acids that mediate metabolic processes of protein synthesis, intended for the dietary treatment of protein malnutrition in acute and chronic diseases, accompanied by loss of muscle mass and in sarcopenia resulting from aging or cancer.
Composed of qualitatively and quantitatively well-defined essential amino acids that, by improving nutritional status, allow for the maintenance of physical autonomy, with reduced risk of frailty, especially in elderly individuals. Thanks to its pleasant palatability, it is indicated for the dietary regimen of both individuals requiring enteral nutrition and those with normal swallowing function, also facilitating the transition from enteral to oral nutrition.
Proper nutrition is the only way to limit and correct the metabolic alterations related to any medical and surgical disease. A crucial point of adequate nutrition is tolerance to physical exercise, essential for maintaining or improving motor autonomy, self-sufficiency, and quality of life: nutrition with rehabilitative function.
The nutritional approach with AMINOTROFIC NE is based on established clinical results, demonstrating a significant increase in tolerance to physical exercise. AMINOTROFIC NE:
1) improves muscle metabolism, making energy production more efficient;
2) increases muscle and plasma protein synthesis;
3) counteracts the loss of muscle mass.
Thanks to these actions, resulting from the increase in the number and functionality of mitochondria, AMINOTROFIC NE promotes the restoration of muscle mass lost due to chronic diseases or advanced age and the recovery of motor activity. Clinical studies show that AMINOTROFIC NE can replace physical rehabilitation if it is not feasible, or can enhance its results.
Supplementation with AMINOTROFIC NE is recommended in the following situations:
1) reduced physical capacity or easy fatigue;
2) unplanned weight loss;
3) insufficient daily intake of foods containing high biological value proteins (e.g., meat, cheese, milk, eggs);
4) bedridden, immobility, or low daily physical activity, predominantly confined to home environments;
5) loss of muscle mass due to chronic diseases (chronic heart failure, COPD, etc.);
6) during and after an infectious episode or recurrent infections;
7) need for acceleration of wound healing, including surgical wounds.

Osmolarity
340 mOsmol/l dispersing the content of one sachet in 100 ml of water
270 mOsmol/l dispersing the content of one sachet in 140 ml of water

Method of use
Minimum recommended dosage: 1-2 sachets per day or according to the doctor's advice, preferably away from main meals.
Administration via enteral route.
Preparation:
1) pour the content of one sachet into a suitable dry container, disperse in 100/140 ml of water at room temperature or slightly warm;
2) mix until the product is completely dispersed;
3) wash the probe with 30 ml of water before and after administering the product;
4) administer using a syringe of at least 60 ml.
Do not mix the product with other enteral nutritional formulas in the same bag. Do not use the product by parenteral route.
Administration via oral route.
Preparation:
1) pour the content of one sachet into a dry glass;
2) add water at room temperature or slightly warm and mix until the product is completely dispersed.
Consume immediately after preparation.

- Is not suitable to be used as the sole source of nutrition.
- Is not recommended for children under three years of age.

Storage method
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources. The expiration date refers to the product in its intact packaging, properly stored.
