Description
Food for special medical purposes specially developed for infants with frequent episodes of regurgitation.
The formulation contains locust bean gum flour, a natural thickening agent that, absorbing water, increases the viscosity of the reconstituted product and reduces its upward flow. This is a key element for the dietary management of regurgitation.
From birth to 6 months.

Usage instructions
1. Wash your hands and sterilize bottles, teats, and rings before preparation.
2. Boil the necessary amount of water and pour it into the bottle when it is warm.
3. To obtain a levelled scoop, after filling it, remove excess powder using the handy leveller on the side of the package. Add level scoops of powder following the average feeding table.
4. Close the bottle, shake it for at least 10 seconds to dissolve the powder, and wait about 5 minutes for the product to thicken.
5. Before feeding the infant, check the temperature on the wrist.
It is recommended to prepare the product only at mealtime and consume it within half an hour. Do not heat or boil the product once prepared. Do not reuse any leftover product.

The table is indicative; dosage can be modified according to the pediatrician's advice, based on the infant's needs.
The reconstitution of Aptamil AR1 is at 13.6% and is obtained by adding 1 level scoop of powder (about 4.6 g) for every 30 ml of boiled water. Use exclusively the scoop contained in the package.

Warnings
Follow the instructions carefully: inadequate preparation and storage methods could pose a health risk to the infant.
The product must be used under pediatric control and is intended for infants up to 6 months. The product can be used as the sole source of nutrition. The product must not be used parenterally. Not suitable for preterm infants.

Storage
Store in a dry place away from heat sources.
Once opened, the package must be properly resealed and stored in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator).
The product should be consumed within one month of opening.
