Description
Class I Medical Device.
Spray that creates a protective film for peristomal and perilesional skin, based on silicone. Alcohol-free, it can be used on injured or damaged skin without causing burning or discomfort.
The film is transparent (to allow visual inspection of the skin) and permeable to oxygen and humidity.

Components
Dilsossan: 93%, acrylic copolymer: 7%.

Method of use
The application of the product is very simple and does not require special skills or specific equipment. The duration of application depends on the frequency of cleaning interventions and the changes of secondary dressings or stoma devices. On skin that is cleaned frequently, daily application may be necessary, but this frequency can be reduced to every 2-3 days in less frequently treated areas.

Skin preparation:

- clean the skin with sterile saline solution or an appropriate cleansing solution, and sterile wipes;
- dry the skin thoroughly before applying the spray;

Dressing application:

- remove the cap. Hold the nebulizer 10-15 cm from the skin and press it to apply an even layer of film on the area of interest. Let dry for 30 seconds. If necessary, repeat application on any areas not adequately covered;
- if the protective solution is applied to an area with skin folds or contact between skin and skin, gently stretch the folds to apply the film and wait for it to dry before allowing the skin to return to its normal position;
- cover the nebulizer again when the product is not in use.

Dressing replacement:

- the protective film can be removed using most medical adhesive removal products. Follow the manufacturer's instructions;
- apply a new layer of product following the above procedure.

Warnings
Do not use if the skin around the ulcer is infected due to tuberculosis, syphilis, deep fungal infections, or third-degree burns.
If symptoms of infection develop (fever, edema, or redness) or if the skin deteriorates unexpectedly, seek medical personnel intervention.
Resume use of the protective film when conditions return to normal.
The protective film should not be used on infected skin.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
The liquid form of the protective film is-flammable. Use in a well-ventilated area and away from flames and heat sources. Keep out of reach of children.
The use of other protective products, creams, ointments, or lotions may reduce the effectiveness of Askina.

Storage
Store at room temperature.
Validity with intact packaging: 36 months.
Cover the nebulizer again when the product is not in use.
One bottle provides more than 140 doses, and its protection is guaranteed up to 3 days.
