Food supplement based on lutein, astaxanthin, coenzyme Q10, zinc, copper, vitamins A, C, E. Its particular absorption characteristic in two phases (fast - slow) allows optimal and differentiated dosages throughout the 24 hours, ensuring continuous protection and synergistic action among the various components. It is useful in all cases of cellular degeneration affecting the yellow spot and performs an important role in regulating the biochemical and physiological processes of retinal cells, slowing down changes in visual functions and protecting visual sensitivity even in the opacification of the lens. The active ingredients play complementary and protective roles among themselves in cases of macular and retinal cellular rarefaction induced by dysfunctions such as degenerative aging of visual function.
Lutein
Carotenoid not synthesized by the body, thus an external supply is essential. It concentrates under genetic control in the macula, retina, and lens, serving as a natural filter, protecting the retinal epithelium from oxidative photo-damage. It absorbs blue light and concentrates in the rod cells transported by HDL lipoproteins. It thereby reduces the risk of cellular degeneration of the macula and retina and the oxidation (opacity) of the lens in old age.
Astaxanthin
