Description
Special medical food, suitable for dietary management of infants with minor gastrointestinal issues such as colic, abdominal bloating and constipation, which may appear in the first months of life.
The formulation of BBmilk DG can improve the consistency of stools, thanks to the presence of galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) and beta-palmitate. It promotes less gas formation at the intestinal level, thanks to the reduced lactose content. Additionally, hydrolyzed serum proteins facilitate quicker gastric emptying.
BBmilk DG also contains 2’-fucosyllactose (HMO) and nucleotides.
BBmilk DG is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth up to the 6th month of life, in cases where breastfeeding is not possible. After the 6th month, or starting from weaning, BBmilk DG can be included in a diversified complementary diet and cannot be used as the only source of nutrition. Introduction of weaning should only occur under pediatrician’s guidance.

Usage instructions
- Before preparing, thoroughly wash and dry hands and sterilize bottles, teats, and rings.
- Boil the necessary amount of water and pour it into the bottle at 50 °C.
- Fill the measuring scoop with the product level and not pressed.
- Add the prescribed number of leveled measure scoops of powder gradually into the bottle.
- After each addition, close the bottle and shake to dissolve the powder.
- Before giving to the infant, check the temperature on the back of your hand; the milk temperature should not exceed 37 °C.
After use, thoroughly wash and dry the measuring scoop.

Quantities are indicative and may vary at the discretion of the Pediatrician depending on the child’s age and appetite. A leveled scoop of BBmilk DG corresponds to 4.5 g equal to 21.5 kcal.
The reconstitution of BBmilk DG is at 13.5% and is obtained by adding a leveled scoop of powder every 30 ml of water.

Precautions
Breast milk is the best food for the infant and should be promoted and used for as long as possible.
If breastfeeding is not possible or sufficient, the infant must be fed with a suitable food for their needs, upon the advice of the Pediatrician.
BBmilk DG must not be administered parenterally.
BBmilk DG should be used under pediatric supervision.
Inadequate preparation and storage can cause disturbances or health risks for the infant. Follow the instructions carefully.
It is recommended to prepare only at meal time and consume within two hours.
Do not heat or boil the milk once prepared.
Do not reuse leftover milk after the meal.

Storage
Once opened, the package must be properly resealed and stored in a dry place, away from heat sources (not in the refrigerator).
Validity at the date of packaging: 24 months.
