Description
Food for special medical purposes, indicated for the dietary management of infants with allergy to cow's milk or soy proteins. BBmilk RICE PRO 0-12 is suitable for feeding infants from birth up to 12 months of age.
The formulation of BBmilk RICE PRO 0-12 has a reduced allergenic potential, as its entire protein content is exclusively represented by rice proteins (EU and non-EU origin) enzymatically hydrolyzed, which promote better digestibility and tolerability.
BBmilk RICE PRO 0-12 is suitable to be used as the sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to 6 months of age, in case they are not breastfed. From 6 months old, or from weaning, BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 is suitable to be integrated into a diversified complementary diet. The start of weaning must occur only under the supervision of the Pediatrician.

Method of use
Bottle preparation:
- before preparation, wash and dry hands carefully and sterilize bottles, teats, and rings.
- boil the necessary amount of water and pour it into the bottle at 70 °C;
- fill the measuring scoop with product flush and not pressed;
- add the prescribed number of level scoops of powder into the bottle;
- close the bottle and shake to dissolve the powder;
- before giving it to the infant, check the temperature on the back of the hand; the product temperature must not exceed 37 °C;
- after use, wash and dry the measuring scoop carefully.

Quantities are indicative and may vary according to the Pediatrician’s judgment depending on the age and appetite of the infant.
One level scoop of BBmilk RICE PRO 0-12 corresponds to 4.8 g equal to 24.1 kcal.
Reconstitution of BBmilk RICE PRO 0-12 is at 13.5% and is obtained by adding a level scoop of powder every 30 ml of water.

Warnings
- Breast milk is the best food for the infant and should be favored and used for as long as possible. If breastfeeding is not possible or sufficient, the infant should be fed with a food suitable for their needs, upon the opinion of the Pediatrician.
- BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 must not be administered parenterally.
- BBmilk Riso Pro 0-12 should only be used under medical supervision.
- Inadequate preparation and storage can cause health disturbances or risks for the infant. Follow the instructions carefully.
- It is recommended to prepare the product only at the time of the meal and consume within two hours.
- Do not reheat or boil the product once prepared.
- Do not reuse any leftover product after the meal.
- Use only the scoop contained in the package.
- The product is packaged in a protective atmosphere.
- Once opened, the package must be properly resealed and stored in a dry place away from heat sources (not in the refrigerator); the product should be consumed within 3 weeks of opening.
