Description

Sterile gauze, impregnated with a lotion for daily eyelid hygiene in the presence of Demodex infection.
It is recommended for:
- daily eyelid hygiene in case of Demodex infection;
- to relieve symptoms of infection or inflammation of the eyelids (blepharitis) caused by Demodex.
BLEPHADEMODEX cleans crusts, dandruff, impurities, and infectious agents on eyelids and eyelashes. It improves symptoms related to Demodex infection, such as itching, burning, dryness, and inflammation of the eyelid margin. Redness of the eyelids and sensations of foreign bodies are reduced.
Contains hyaluronic acid sodium, a natural moisturizing agent that soothes and regenerates sensitive skin.
The product has been tested under ophthalmological control.
Free of harsh detergents and preservatives.

Directions for use
- Mild to moderate symptoms: use once a day, preferably in the evening for 4 weeks.
- Moderate to severe symptoms: use twice a day, morning and evening for 4 weeks.
The healthcare professional may adjust the dosage and duration of treatment according to the severity of symptoms.
As with other similar treatments, for blepharitis, concomitant use of artificial tears should be recommended by healthcare professionals.
No special training is required to use BLEPHADEMODEX.
For contact lens wearers: remove lenses before using BLEPHADEMODEX.

Wash hands thoroughly before using the gauze. Tear open the packet and unfold the gauze inside; do not use any tools to open the packet. Wrap the gauze around the top of the index finger. Keeping the eye closed, gently rub the gauze on the eyelids and at the base of the eyelashes. Gently massage the eyelids with small circular movements, carefully removing crusts or secretions. Repeat on the other eye, using a new gauze. BLEPHADEMODEX does not grease and does not need to be rinsed after use. Keep the eye closed for 15 seconds after use.

Components
PEG-8, polysorbate 80, poloxamer 184, terpinen-4-ol, PEG-6 caprylic/capric triglycerides, macrogol 6 glycerol caprylocaprate, hyaluronic acid sodium, dibasic potassium phosphate, monobasic potassium phosphate, purified water.

Warnings
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Avoid getting BLEPHADEMODEX into the eyes; it may cause a burning sensation. In this case, rinse with sterile water or saline solution.
Check that the package is intact before first use: use only if the bag is unopened.
Do not reuse any gauze, as it may not work as well and could cause contamination.
Contact a healthcare professional if symptoms worsen or do not improve.
Do not use BLEPHADEMODEX if you are allergic to any of its components.
In the absence of sufficient data, do not use BLEPHADEMODEX during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed by a doctor.

Possible side effects: burning sensation after use. In such cases, contact lens wearers should remove their contact lenses. If you notice side effects or unusual sensations after using this product, contact a healthcare professional and report the information to the local distributor, manufacturer, or local health authority.

Storage
Store at temperatures between 8°C and 25°C. Do not expose the product to direct light and humidity.
Discard the gauze immediately after use.
Do not use after the expiration date, which is printed on the packet and external packaging.
The expiration date refers to the last day of that month, provided the package is intact and stored properly.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 24 months.
