A prestigious study from the University of Federico II in Naples identified in the Annurca Apple a component called PROCYANIDIN B-2, through which it is possible to counteract baldness, hair thinning, and promote hair regrowth, thanks to the antioxidant properties of this fruit and their ability to promote microcirculation by delivering more oxygen to the hair bulb.

THE STUDY
To prove the incredible properties of this polyphenolic extract of Annurca Apple, a study* was conducted, randomized
against placebo, involving 250 healthy volunteers with moderate alopecia, in which its
efficacy in countering hair thinning and promoting regrowth was definitively demonstrated.
The results show that the extract of Annurca Apple is capable, already after 60 days, of promoting an increase of about double the number of hair per cm2 of skin and of increasing by nearly a third the weight of hair and their keratin content.
In conclusion, the studies presented demonstrate, for the first time, that the oral intake of a formulation based on the procianidin complex from Annurca Apple is able to guarantee beneficial effects on hair growth and trophism, in a completely effective and competitive way within modern dermatological medicine, without, however, bringing the classic side effects of currently more used drugs.
N.B: It is interesting to note that studies with the co-presence of zinc, biotin, and selenium only slightly assist
the effect of the extract itself. Therefore, it can be stated that the
clinical results obtained are almost entirely attributable to the procyanidin extract of Annurca Apple.
