INDICATIONS
Many factors can cause weakening of the keratinous layer of the nails: due to decreased natural protection, the risk of attacks by bacteria and fungi increases, with the consequent unpleasant and unsightly manifestations (flaking, yellowing, and nail loss).
DERMOVITAMINA MICOBLOCK UNGUAL SOLUTION is a gel-liquid for the treatment of nails affected by onychomycosis. It contains a mixture of functional substances that aim to create an environment hostile to the proliferation of fungi that can nest in the nail bed and to protect the keratin of the nails from external aggressions, avoiding the typical effects of attacks by fungi and bacteria such as fragility, weakening, yellowing, and deformation.
The substances contained in DERMOVITAMINA MICOBLOCK UNGUAL SOLUTION form a protective surface layer that mechanically prevents exchange with the outside. In addition, it is based on keratin softening substances that make the nail more predisposed to the film-forming agent. An acidifying agent can lower the pH of the nail, making the environment unfavorable for the proliferation of fungal infections. Furthermore, the presence of propylene glycol counteracts the spread of fungi through an osmotic mechanism, that is, by removing free water, while alcohol acts as a dehydrating agent and thus eliminates the moisture on which fungi grow and proliferate. The device also contains an extract of Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea tree oil), known for its protective properties.
Damaged nails can depend on various factors:
Physical factors: heat and humidity, trauma to the nail, shoes that are too tight.
Chemical factors: use of detergents and solvents that can alter the proteins of the nail.
Fungal infections: contamination in changing rooms and swimming pools, predisposition if suffering from another fungal infection, such as athlete's foot, or a risk disease, such as diabetes.
To know the exact reason for the phenomenon, it is advisable to consult your pharmacist or doctor. It is also appropriate to consult a doctor if:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
DERMOVITAMINA MICOBLOCK UNGUAL SOLUTION is applied very easily daily on clean and dry nails. The brush allows for optimal application of the product over the entire surface of the nail, on the surrounding skin, and on the underside of the free edge of the nail. Invisible and odorless, the product dries very quickly integrating rapidly into the structure of the nail.
It is recommended to apply DERMOVITAMINA MICOBLOCK UNGUAL SOLUTION at least twice a day for the first month, and subsequently once a day, always avoiding wetting the affected nail for at least an hour after application.
DERMOVITAMINA MICOBLOCK UNGUAL SOLUTION
is not a nail polish. If desired, it is possible to apply a cosmetic nail polish over its protective film (after at least an hour from application).
Before reapplying DERMOVITAMINA MICOBLOCK UNGUAL SOLUTION, remove any cosmetic nail polishes to allow for product penetration.
The results of the treatment with DERMOVITAMINA MICOBLOCK UNGUAL SOLUTION are appreciable with the regrowth of the nail. A healthy nail grows on average 1 cm every three months for hands and 1/3 cm for feet. With age, regrowth becomes slower. It is therefore necessary to extend the treatment of the affected nails for several consecutive months to allow for the physiological regrowth of a healthy nail, eliminating the damaged part.
Improvement in the condition of the nail occurs in two phases:
1. The development of damage stops.
2. The nail regrows and pushes forward the damaged part, which is progressively eliminated with normal nail trimming.
