Description
Dietary supplement based on coconut oil and vitamin E. Coconut oil provides a supporting and restorative action and promotes skin trophism. Vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It is obtained by simple cold pressing from the pulp of the coconut, without the use of solvents. It is free of preservatives, GMO free, and non-irradiated. At room temperature, it has the consistency of butter and melts at around 24-26 degrees.
It is an oil containing lauric acid, myristic acid, caprylic acid, capric acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, and is rich in polyphenols including gallic acid, ferulic acid, quercetin, methyl catechin. These fatty acids are a highly available energy source, as being medium-chain, they are more easily absorbed compared to long-chain animal fats.

Properties
Coconut oil does not negatively influence cholesterol levels, precisely because it is low in long-chain saturated fatty acids, and it is even demonstrated to help lower bad LDL cholesterol and promote good HDL cholesterol, reducing cardiovascular risk. It improves the antioxidant status of the liver and kidney health by modulating values of creatinine, sodium, potassium, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, and alkaline phosphatase. It also exhibits a certain thermogenic effect, as its fatty acids are easily converted into energy instead of being stored as fat. It has a positive effect on the microbiome by increasing the amount of Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria and exhibits anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic actions.
Medium-chain fatty acids are easily metabolized by the liver and converted into ketones that serve as an important energy source for the brain. In particular, it has been shown that this oil improves cognitive functions in cases of Alzheimer’s. It has also been proven to reduce stress.
Its fatty acids are also important for immune defenses. Lauric acid is useful in countering viruses such as HIV, influenza, and herpes; capric acid reacts with certain enzymes secreted by other bacteria, which subsequently convert it into a powerful antimicrobial agent, monocaprin; caprylic acid is a potent antifungal against candidiasis.
It is widely used in cosmetics for its pronounced nourishing and sebum-restorative properties, especially suitable for sensitive and dehydrated skin.

Usage methods
2 teaspoons per day to be taken pure or for the preparation of hot or cold dishes. For external use, apply with suitable massage until fully absorbed. On hair, distribute as a mask and leave on for 15 minutes before shampooing.
