Freeland Askorbato K 30 Tablets Time Release

ASKORBATO KCPR Time Release is Freeland's new formula born from the need to improve the previous formulation of Askorbato K-HdT POWERED for some crucial aspects such as: increasing the concentration of ascorbic acid per tablet, making the pharmaceutical formula even more stable and longer-lasting, allowing the absorption of active ingredients exclusively at the intestinal level.

ASKORBATO KCPR Time Release is a supplement based on ascorbic acid, potassium salt (ascorbic acid and potassium bicarbonate), red vine seed extract (standardized at 95% proanthocyanidins) and dried olive leaves extract (standardized at 6% oleuropein).

The product ASKORBATO KCPR Time Release ensures high bioavailability of antioxidants and promotes the absorption of fungal beta-glucans.

* INSTANUTE DR®: a unique coating system available on the market based on natural polymeric material. Practically insoluble at pH<3 and="" immediately="" solubilized="" at="" pH="">5, conferring gastroresistance to the tablet which disintegrates at the enteric level.

The new formulation ASKORBATO KCPR Time Release improves the absorption of α- and β-glucans: ascorbic acid modifies the viscosity and osmolarity of α- and β-glucans in the intestinal lumen, facilitating their absorption.

Vitamin C (REGULATION (EU) NO. 432/2012 OF THE COMMISSION of 16 May 2012) contributes to:

• the normal function of the immune system
• the protection of cells from oxidative stress
• the normal energy metabolism
• the normal formation of collagen for the function of blood vessels, bones, and cartilage
• the normal formation of collagen for the function of gums and teeth and for normal teeth function
• the normal psychological function
• the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
• Finally, the Vitamin C increases iron absorption

Potassium (REGULATION (EU) NO. 432/2012 OF THE COMMISSION of 16 May 2012) contributes to:

• the maintenance of normal blood pressure
• the normal muscle function
• the normal functioning of the nervous system

The formula is enriched with Olea europaea L. folia (Olive) and Vitis vinifera L.

As per the ministerial guidelines of reference for physiological effects, Annex 1 to DM 10 August 2018 on the regulation of the use of plant substances and preparations in dietary supplements as updated by Decree 9 January 2018 and last by Decree 26 July 2019: 

• Olea europaea folia has antioxidant function and supports carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. It contributes to normal blood circulation and regular blood pressure.
• Vitis vinifera seeds contribute to microcirculation function (heaviness of the legs). It has antioxidant function and supports the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system.
