Therapeutic Indications:
Treatment and prevention of infestations by ticks, fleas, and lice in dogs and cats aged 2 days or older. Fipronil quickly exerts its lethal action on ticks, preventing the development of the parasite and the potential transmission of infections for which the tick is a vector. It is effective against the main tick species present in the country, including Ixodes ricinus, responsible for transmitting Lyme disease to dogs, cats, and humans. Fipronil acts on fleas by rapidly killing adult forms, thus preventing the deposition of eggs and therefore new infestations. Thanks to the lethal action on adult fleas, fipronil effectively contributes to the control and resolution of Flea Allergic Dermatitis (FAD) which, in dogs and cats, is caused by the sensitizing action exerted by the antigens present in the saliva of these parasites. Fipronil, with a single treatment, controls and rapidly resolves lice infestations in dogs and cats, particularly those caused by Trichodectes canis, the chewing louse of dogs and Felicola subrostratus, the chewing louse of cats.
Contraindications/Adverse Effects:
Do not use on animals with extensive skin lesions. Do not use in sick animals (systemic diseases, with fever, etc.) or convalescing. Do not use in rabbits, as potentially fatal adverse reactions may occur.
Dosage:
Spray from 3 to 6 ml/kg of body weight, corresponding to 2-4 sprays (1 spray is equal to 1.5 ml), depending on the length of the coat. Tick protection: up to 1 month after treatment in both dogs and cats. Flea protection: up to 5 weeks after treatment in cats; up to 3 months after treatment in dogs. For proper ectoparasitic prevention, it is advisable to carry out monthly treatments during periods of greater seasonality. Spray 'against the fur' over the entire surface of the animal's body, from a distance of 10-20 cm, holding the bottle in a vertical position. For the head and the area around the eyes, apply the product on a glove and gently stroke 'against the fur.' At the end of these operations, let it dry naturally. Fipronil concentrates in the sebaceous glands of hair follicles in the 24 hours following application.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from flames or heat sources.
Warnings:
Avoid spraying the product in the animals' eyes, on mucous membranes, and inside the ear. Baths, rain, and shampoos do not interfere with the duration of the product's activity against ectoparasites. It is important that animals do not lick each other after treatment. It is recommended not to allow dogs to swim in watercourses for 2 days after the product application as fipronil can be harmful to aquatic organisms. If not correctly applied, individual ticks may attach to the dog or cat. For this reason, in the worst case, the transmission of infectious diseases cannot be completely ruled out. Fleas present on animals often infest the animal's basket, blankets, and areas where the animal lives, particularly carpets, curtains, and upholstery. Properly ventilate the environment during product delivery. Do not inhale or ingest; in case of accidental ingestion consult a doctor. Avoid contact with pregnant women and small children. The product may cause irritation to mucous membranes and eyes. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid contact with the mouth and eyes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. It is advisable to avoid contact with the veterinary medicine to animals or people with a known sensitivity to insecticides or alcohol and to avoid touching animals until the fur is dry. Wash hands after use.

Transient skin reactions such as erythema, itching, or alopecia after application. Exceptionally, hypersalivation, reversible neurological symptoms (hyperesthesia, depression, nervous symptoms), vomiting, or respiratory symptoms have been observed. If animals lick themselves, transient hypersalivation due mainly to the excipients in the product may be observed.
