Patented silicone gel, transparent and self-drying for the treatment of scars. Dries quickly forming a flexible and waterproof film that creates a protective barrier against chemical, physical, and microbial agents while also contributing to skin hydration.
This gel creates an environment that favors the maturation of the scar by normalizing collagen synthesis and improving the aesthetic appearance of the scar.
Additionally, it helps protect scars from the harmful effects of the sun, preventing sun-induced redness and hyperpigmentation, while also improving the overall appearance of the scar.
It is recommended to further protect scars with sunscreen, to be applied every two hours during sun exposure. Infants and small children should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
KELO-COTE UV is indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from trauma, accidental wounds, surgical procedures, and burns.

KELO-COTE UV can be used on joints, in folds, and on hairy areas and extensive scars such as those caused by burns or major trauma.

How to use
Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry. Cut the tip of the applicator with clean scissors before application. Apply a thin and even layer, using a clean finger, twice a day.
KELO-COTE UV should be applied every day, 30 minutes before the first sun exposure. Additionally, sunscreen should be applied at least every 2 hours. For maximum effect, KELO-COTE UV should remain in contact with the skin for 24 hours. Once the gel has dried, sunscreens or other cosmetics can be applied to the affected area. Close the cap after use.
If KELO-COTE UV does not dry within 4-5 minutes, too much may have been used. Gently remove the excess and allow the drying process to continue.
The minimum recommended treatment time is 60-90 days. Larger and older scars may take longer, and if the improvement of the scar is visible, it is recommended to continue using the product after the first 90 days of application.
