Sterile Medical Device for endo-vesical instillations designed to form a protective and waterproof barrier that promotes the natural restoration of the surface integrity of the urothelium altered by dismetabolic situations associated with inflammatory agents of various origins. The presence of Adelmidrol ensures the restoration of the physiological level of palmitoylethanolamide in the bladder interstitium, which is decreased by the inflammatory phenomenon resulting from the progressive loss of control over normal regulation of endo-vesical mast cells. In this way, the depolymerization process of hyaluronic acid, both instilled and naturally present in the urothelium, is controlled, which determines the ability of the polysaccharide to restore the superficial integrity of the urothelium. Therefore, the combination of hyaluronic acid and Adelmidrol results in a synergistic effect capable of restoring the surface integrity of the urothelium altered by dismetabolic situations associated with inflammatory agents of various origins.

Components
Bottle: Adelmidrol (INN), sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, disodium edetate, phosphate buffer 10 mM pH 7.0, water to 50 ml.

Method of use
One endo-vesical instillation every 7 days or as directed by the doctor. It is recommended to handle the devices that make up Vessilen Kit only after thoroughly washing your hands and to adopt all possible precautions to reduce the risk of product contamination. Wait for spontaneous bladder emptying, insert a sterile catheter into the bladder and wait for complete emptying. Withdraw the sterile solution from the glass vial with the sterile syringe and needle provided. Remove the needle from the syringe. Connect the sterile Luer-Lock Adapter and disposable syringe provided to the syringe. Connect the Luer-Lock Adapter to the catheter and instill all the solution contained in the syringe into the bladder.

Warnings
The instillation of Vessilen through the catheter must be carried out by qualified medical personnel via probe, syringe or cannula. Vessilen is a single-use medical device. Do not sterilize again, do not reuse unused solution portions, do not use if the packaging is open or damaged as the sterility of the product is compromised. Reuse of the device may pose a risk of patient contamination. No side effects of the product are known when used according to the manufacturer's instructions. No interactions between Vessilen and medicines normally used in the relevant pathologies are currently known. The product is not suitable for subjects already sensitized to the components present in the formulation. Stop the treatment in case of any undesirable effects. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date.
