KlamaVit Junior

Food supplement based on Klamath algae. Provides amino acids, essential fatty acids, and minerals to support natural psychophysical well-being.
The Klamath microalga has the great advantage of being able to effectively reintegrate our diet, thanks to its supply of 14 vitamins, 60 minerals and trace elements (including minerals like iron and vanadium, present in high concentrations in the alga) and good amounts of Omega 3 fatty acids (also shown to be relevant for ADHD issues). Klamath also has extremely high quantities of chlorophyll and carotenoids, which have strong antioxidant power, thereby protecting our organs and tissues. Especially, Klamath is rich in specific phycocyanins (molecules typical of blue-green algae), antioxidant molecules with a very high neuroprotective power.
The Klamath alga also contains a specific neuromodulating molecule that is the endogenous and physiological version of many synthetic molecules, namely phenylethylamine or PEA. It therefore constitutes a great source, both in children and adults, of physical and mental energy, appetite moderation, and especially a great stimulus for essential intellectual functions such as attention, concentration, and memory.

      Vitamins
Klamath is characterized by its high content of B group vitamins, especially B12. Moreover, Klamath is an excellent source of vitamin K, essential for bones. Unlike other microalgae like spirulina, its vitamin spectrum is complete and also includes vitamin C.
      Minerals and trace elements
Klamath is the only nutritional source containing the complete spectrum of minerals and trace elements necessary for the human body in a synergistic and perfectly assimilable form.
      Amino acids
Klamath contains 60% to 70% noble proteins. It is the only known food to possess as many as 20 amino acids. In particular, the proportion of essential amino acids is almost identical to that considered optimal for the human body, making it perfectly assimilable from a protein standpoint.
      Essential fatty acids
Klamath is among the richest plant sources of Omega-3 and Omega-6, in the proportion deemed optimal by nutritionists (2-1), and is capable of normalizing fat metabolism.
      Carotenoids, phycocyanins, chlorophyll, cyanophycin
Rich in antioxidant pigments, among which the powerful phycocyanins stand out, Klamath provides, in addition to the most important endogenous antioxidants (SOD and glutathione), the highest content of beta-carotene among all known foods, perfectly assimilable because present in both cis and trans forms in a balanced manner. Even more importantly, the beta-carotene in Klamath is part of the entire set of carotenoids (alpha, gamma, etc.), and it is now widely demonstrated that only the combined set of carotenoids exerts a powerful antioxidant action, whereas beta-carotene alone even plays an oxidizing role.
Klamath is perfectly assimilable (97% assimilability compared to any other food) not only due to the calibrated and balanced synergy of all its nutrients but also because of its cell membrane, made from a lipoglicoprotein similar to human glycogen, which our body immediately assimilates as a source of instantaneous energy. The nutritional completeness is enough to explain why this microalga can provide numerous benefits. Klamath, as already highlighted, is one of the richest sources of antioxidants. Just 2 g of Klamath contain about 50% of the daily RDA of beta-carotene, accompanied by numerous other carotenoids, including alpha-carotene, gamma-carotene, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin, lutein, and lycopene.
Phycocyanins are powerful antagonists of free radicals (1), and play a significant hepatoprotective action (2).
In a specific study on Klamath, the ability of this microalga, thanks to its Omega 3 content and its ability to increase organic levels, to reduce plasma levels of arachidonic acid, a precursor to the main inflammatory prostaglandins and leukotrienes (3), has been demonstrated.
Klamath is also the only food known to date that contains significant amounts of phenylethylamine, an amino acid naturally produced by our brain in states of euphoria and joy. It directly contributes to increasing the amount of freely circulating dopamine, thus enhancing dopaminergic transmission.
In the brain, the action of PEA (phenylethylamine) is based on the fact that it has a greater affinity than dopamine itself for the receptors responsible for receiving it. This means that, once in the brain, it is captured by pre-synaptic vesicles and occupies the space normally occupied by dopamine. This results in an increase in freely circulating dopamine in pre-synaptic terminals and a higher concentration of dopamine spread in synaptic clefts, thereby strengthening dopaminergic transmission.
PEA, once taken orally, quickly crosses the blood-brain barrier and becomes immediately available in the brain.
The phycocyanin extract concentrates the PEA (about 1%) naturally contained in Klamath and thus presents itself as capable of producing important nutri-therapeutic effects in issues such as mood swings (4); memory, concentration, and mental sharpness declines (5); attention and learning disorders.
