ACTIMAR FIALOIDI
Hypertonic saline solution for inhalation use based on: high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, sodium chloride 3%, sodium bicarbonate. Recommended for daily hygiene of the nasal passages. It is useful in case of colds, allergic and non-allergic rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, as well as in all those cases where nasal decongestion is required or in the presence of impaired mucociliary clearance. Adjuvant in the prevention and therapy of otitis media where improved ventilation of the upper airways is useful. Actimar contains no preservatives.
Method of use
Direct irrigation:
-Break the vial cap with a rotational movement.
-Tilt your head to one side, never backwards.
-Gently bring the tip of the bottle to the upper nostril and press lightly to spray.
-Tilt your head to the other side (never backwards) and repeat the spraying in the other nostril.
-The container can be closed again by turning it upside down and pressing the cap on the vial opening.
Dosage: spray half a vial per nostril 2-3 times a day or more often if needed or according to medical advice.
Inhalation therapy:
Actimar can also be used in inhalation therapy for the upper respiratory tract: in this case, use the appropriate inhalation devices that ensure proper nebulization and follow the device's instructions.
Dosage: one vial, 1-2 times a day or as advised by a doctor.
Warnings
Keep internal instructions with the product. Use the product for inhalation therapies only for the upper respiratory tract. Keep out of reach and sight of children to prevent improper use. Avoid contact with eyes. Not intended for oral use. Not injectable. The use of the same vial by multiple subjects could compromise its effectiveness and may cause the worsening of existing problems as well as the appearance of issues not previously present. Do not use in cases of individual hypersensitivity to one or more components of the product. Do not use in cases of ongoing or recently concluded epistaxis, nor if the nasal mucosa is not intact. Inhalation of a hypertonic saline solution in particularly sensitive patients could trigger episodes of bronchospasm: in such cases, stop treatment and consult a doctor to establish appropriate therapy. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and contact a doctor. Do not use in case of accidental contamination after opening. Smoke could impair the protective effect of hyaluronic acid. The use of this medical device does not replace other treatments prescribed by your doctor. Interaction studies between Actimar vials and other substances and/or drugs have not been conducted. Therefore, in cases where you wish to associate Actimar vials with other substances and/or drugs, it is necessary to strictly follow your doctor's instructions and the usage instructions of the product used in conjunction with Actimar vials. Do not use the product with quaternary compounds. Improper observance of warnings and usage instructions could compromise the effectiveness of the product or cause the worsening of existing problems as well as the emergence of issues not previously present.
