Bromelain: through inhibition of lipoxygenases, bromelain exerts anti-inflammatory effects by reducing the formation of eicosanoids. Boswellia serrata: Widely studied for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Research has found that an extract of Boswellia is more useful, less toxic, and more potent than standard drugs for rheumatic disorders, and it is preferred over other anti-inflammatories like indomethacin, phenylbutazone, or acetylsalicylic acid. The anti-inflammatory action is due to the presence of boswellic acids, which can inhibit the formation of leukotriene B4 through the selective inhibition of the 5-lipoxygenase enzyme. Boswellia resin also exerts inhibitory activity against elastases and hyaluronidases, proteolytic enzymes known to be destructive.
Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis): The therapeutic properties are attributable to its sedative action similar to that of drugs belonging to the benzodiazepine class. Another pharmacological property of this plant is its antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and carminative action, due to the inhibition of calcium penetration into muscle cells, resulting in reduced contraction of smooth muscle. The neurosedative and spasmolytic mechanism of action may partly be attributed to anti-thyroid activity, especially anti-TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone). Melissa essence acts at the level of the limbic lobe of the CNS, which is responsible for the coordination of vegetative functions and protection from abnormal stimuli from the periphery, ensuring a sedative activity useful in neurovegetative dystonias.
Malva sylvestris: Extracts of malva leaves and flowers have been studied for their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor, antiulcerogenic properties and their role in supporting tissue integrity. They also possess soothing, emollient activity and aid in healing.

The partnered couriers GLS or BRT will collect the goods purchased on pillolastore.com from the OMEOSEI Srl warehouse.
