UrgoTul is indicated for the treatment of acute wounds (burns, dermabrasions, traumatic wounds, post-operative wounds, etc.) and chronic wounds (venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers) in the epithelialization or granulation stage and for the treatment of wounds caused by blistering epidermolysis.
UrgoTul is available in packaging containing individually sterile dressings, ready to use.

Composition
UrgoTul is a non-adhesive, non-occlusive, and non-adherent lipido-colloidal dressing, made of a polyester mesh impregnated with hydrocolloid particles (Carboxymethylcellulose CMC) and petrolatum.

Properties
The Lipido-Colloidal Technology (TLC) is a wound-healing and gelling matrix, an exclusive and patented innovation of the Urgo Laboratories.
Its specificity depends on the polymer matrix that ensures cohesion between the hydrocolloid particles and the petrolatum within a polyester mesh.
In contact with wound exudate, the hydrocolloid particles (CMC) gel and, in combination with the matrix, form a lipido-colloidal film that allows:
• maintaining a favorable moist environment for healing;
• stimulating fibroblast proliferation.
UrgoTul has a fatty composition, without feeling greasy to the touch.
It does not adhere to the wound or to the surrounding skin.
Removing the dressing is painless for the patient and atraumatic for the regenerating tissues.

Instructions for use
Wound preparation
• Clean the wound with a saline solution. If an antiseptic has been used beforehand, rinse the wound thoroughly with saline solution before applying UrgoTul.
• Carefully dry the surrounding skin.
• UrgoTul can be cut using sterile scissors to fit the dressing to the wound.
Dressing application
• Remove the protective flaps and apply UrgoTul onto the wound.
• Cover UrgoTul with a secondary dressing and secure it with an appropriate bandage.
• Apply a compression bandage if prescribed.
dressing replacement
• Change the dressing every 2-4 days (every 1-3 days for patients with blistering epidermolysis). UrgoTul can be left in place up to 7 days depending on the wound's evolution.

Precautions
• The sterile protection must be intact before use. Do not use if the sterile protection is damaged.
• If signs of local infection are observed, treatment may be replaced with an antibacterial dressing (UrgoTul Ag/Silver, UrgoCell Ag), depending on medical advice.
• For deep wounds or fistulas, part of the UrgoTul dressing should remain visible to allow easy removal.
• Single-use packaging: reusing a single-use dressing could expose to the risk of infection.
• Do not sterilize again.

If you choose to pay with a credit card or PayPal, there are no additional payment fees. However, if you prefer to pay cash on delivery, there is an additional cost of €4.00, which will be added to the total order amount. You can then pay the total amount in cash to the courier upon delivery. For bank transfer payments, there are no additional costs in the order, but your bank may apply its usual transfer fee.


How can I know when my order will arrive?

You can track your order shipment using the tracking code you will receive via email. The courier will make two delivery attempts, after which the package will be stored at the nearest GLS office. In this case, you will need to pick up the package from the office to avoid the order being returned to us and incurring additional costs.


Can I return a product?

Of course, if you are not satisfied with a product, you can return it within 14 days from the delivery date. If you wish to return a product, you can send back the unopened, unused, and undamaged product. For the shipment, you can choose a courier of your choice at your expense, send it back to us, and once the product's condition has been checked, the product amount will be refunded. If the returned product is not in perfect condition, the product amount cannot be refunded. Shipping costs for the original order will not be refunded. In case of delivery errors, the return will be completely at our expense.

GLS and BRT Express Courier for Pickup/Delivery Service

The partnered couriers GLS or BRT will collect the goods purchased on pillolastore.com from the OMEOSEI Srl warehouse. The delivery address is specified during the order confirmation (checkout) by the customer. Please fill in the destination details correctly to avoid failed deliveries or storage issues.


Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are €0.99 for orders over €25 and €5.99 for orders below €25. Please note that shipments are not insured.
