Candidiasis is a vaginal infection caused by fungi of the genus Candida (of which Candida albicans is the most common). Under normal conditions, candida is present in the vaginal ecosystem in balance with other species. Under particular conditions (reduced immune defenses, antibiotic and cortisone therapies, diet low in vitamins and/or high in sugars and carbohydrates, stress, use of oral contraceptives, underwear that is too tight and/or synthetic), these fungi replicate excessively disrupting the balance among the species of the vaginal flora and leading to the development of candidiasis. To combat candidiasis, it is useful to restore the balance among the species by bringing the vaginal pH to optimal values, thus creating an environment hostile to the proliferation of fungi.
Indicated in the adjunctive treatment of vaginal mycoses. It performs a balancing and normalizing action of vaginal pH useful to counteract the colonization of pathogens. Moreover, thanks to its soothing action, it alleviates bothersome sensations of itching and burning.

Ingredients
Semi-synthetic glycerides, boric acid, dimethyl silicate, bisabolol, vitamin E acetate, lactic acid.

Method of use
Remove the suppository by pulling the two tabs of the pre-cut blister and insert it deeply into the vagina. Wash hands before and after using the medical device.
Use one suppository a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed, or as prescribed by a doctor.

Warnings
Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product, during pregnancy and breastfeeding (in such circumstances, it is advisable to consult your doctor).
No particular precautions are necessary if using tools, machines, or vehicles.
No interactions with other products are known; therefore, it is advisable to consult your doctor before using the product in conjunction with other medical devices or vaginal drugs.
The use, especially if prolonged, of all topical products could lead to sensitization phenomena. In that case, stop the treatment and consult your doctor to establish suitable therapy. If other undesirable effects are noticed, inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not ingest.
The expiration date refers to the product in intact packaging, properly stored. Do not use after the expiration date or if the package is open or damaged. Medical devices must not be disposed of in water waste and domestic waste; ask the pharmacist how to dispose of unused medical devices. This will help protect the environment.

Storage
Store the medical device away from light and heat, preferably at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.

The partnered courier GLS will collect the goods purchased on pillolastore.com from the OMEOSEI Srl warehouse. The delivery address is specified during the order confirmation (checkout) by the customer. Please fill in the destination details correctly to avoid failed deliveries or storage issues.


Shipping Costs
