Its laxative effect, of a mechanical and osmotic type, is related to the fact that the water-loving mucilages of this plant increase greatly in volume in the presence of liquids (up to about 30 times their dry volume), forming a bulky gel that increases the volume of fecal material, thus stimulating intestinal movements and facilitating evacuation.
Lactitol
It is a non-absorbable disaccharide that attracts water into the intestine and accelerates stool transit. It also acts as a prebiotic because it decreases stool pH, preventing the proliferation of harmful bacteria and favoring beneficial bacterial strains. Its energy density is only 2.4 kilocalories per gram compared to 4 calories for sucrose.

The partnered couriers GLS or BRT will collect the goods purchased on pillolastore.com from the OMEOSEI Srl warehouse.
