PROPERTIES OF THE COMPONENTS
Gynostemma pentaphyllum:
Plant known for millennia and defined as "plant of immortality". Compared to Ginseng, it has a
clear balancing general and metabolic property. Perennial plant from the mountains of China - Tibet,
Korea and Japan. Among its many names: Ginpent, Jiaogulan, Makino. The properties of this plant are
reported in the texts of the Ming dynasty (1300 A.C) where, in Chinese medicine texts, it is mentioned as
“tree of immortality.” Still the subject of studies, but already among the most sought after herbal remedies, in Japan
it is eaten with salad as an added spice and in Tibet, it is ingested as an infusion from the leaves.
It contains practically all minerals, vitamins, and amino acids. Its properties are particularly
broad as it tends to normalize the majority of metabolic functions (blood sugar, cholesterol,
blood pressure, hormones, immunity, etc.) and this is plausible only if deemed suitable to reactivate intracellular hormones (eicosanoids).
Gynostemma has astonishing properties as described by the almost millenary clinical case studies compared with European experiments in hospitals and private studies: anti-ulcerative gastrointestinal (including Chron's), immunostimulant, anti-inflammatory joint (up to degenerative arthritis),

unicellular microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, and its rapid metabolic diffusibility makes it immediately available in the bloodstream (6 hours) and it is able to cross the blood-brain barrier,
exerting its effects at levels that are difficult to reach by other antioxidants.
Astaxanthin, compared to other xanthophylls already used as antioxidants, produces a therapeutic effect far superior. For example, it is twice as effective as beta carotene and zeaxanthin.
It is 65 times more powerful than vitamin C, 54 times more powerful than beta carotene, and 100-500 times more
powerful than vitamin E.
Astaxanthin finds application in:
protecting the venous walls and the cardiovascular system;
