The synergistic action of the phytocomplex is primarily aimed at heartburn and gastric hyperacidity
even in the presence of gastroesophageal reflux. These plants in the millenary Ayurvedic
Indian tradition are considered among the best for detoxifying and rejuvenating the entire body. The formulation stimulates the reparative and regenerative capacity of the gastric mucosa and can be used in
digestive system disorders such as colitis, constipation, meteorism, flatulence, dysbiosis, malabsorption,
steatosis, and liver failure.

COMPOSITION
The daily dose of 1500 mg equal to 3 capsules, contains:
Phyllanthus emblica officinalis (amalaki) - fruit 420 mg
Terminalia chebula (aritaki) - fruit 270 mg
Matricaria chamomilla (chamomile) - flowers 150 mg
Malva sylvestris (mallow) - aerial parts 120 mg
Althaea officinalis (marshmallow) - roots 120 mg

PROPERTIES OF THE COMPONENTS
Emblica Officinalis:
Used for millennia to counteract hyperacidity, heartburn, and gastr duodenal ulcers, this fruit
also has many other truly surprising properties.
A 2011 study, published in the European Journal of Cancer Prevention, calls it “The miracle fruit” for tumor prevention. It is the most important plant in Indian Ayurvedic medicine: immunostimulant, anti-inflammatory, powerful natural antibiotic (according to
Kanthimathi and Soranam), antidiabetic, lipid-lowering (comparable to simvastatin) but without any
side effects, antihypertensive, analgesic, overall detoxifier of the organism, very rich in vitamin C and minerals. It is also antipyretic, cardioprotective in ischemia, neuroprotective capable of improving memory and cognitive functions, stimulating fertility.

Terminalia Chebula:
The healing action of Terminalia is very broad: besides its use as an antacid and anti-gastric ulcer,
scientific studies confirm many of the properties passed down from Indian Ayurvedic medicine: laxative, stimulating effect on gastric motility, useful in neoplastic disorders and protective in
radiotherapy, antibiotic even against pathogenic antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains (staphylococcus
aureus, Escherichia coli).
A 2011 study published in the Journal of Pharmacy Research summarizes its properties as: antibacterial, anticancer, antidiabetic, antimutagenic, antioxidant, antiulcer, dermoprotective, cardioprotective, moderately laxative.

Matricaria Chamomilla:
For centuries, Chamomile has occupied a prominent place in European phytotherapy in the treatment of
gastrointestinal ailments and oropharyngeal diseases. It is therefore used in stomatitis, gastro-duodenitis, skin inflammations, insect bites, gynecological conditions (inflammations, dysmenorrhea). Remember the
sedative-anxiolytic and antispasmodic action. The anti-inflammatory action is caused by flavonoids (apigenin). According to other studies, it also has antibacterial and anti-allergic effects.

Malva Sylvestris:
The main therapeutic actions of the plant concern its emollient and disinfectant properties that
have supported its use for centuries for canker sores, cough, bronchitis, and laryngitis. Very important are its
gastroprotective regenerating, healing properties that justify its use as an anti-ulcer remedy.
Also remember the laxative action (as a mechanical purgative) and antispasmodic effect on the gastrointestinal tract.

Althaea Officinalis:
A plant listed in the capitularies of Charlemagne, it has been used for centuries for heartburn, gastritis, and colitis. Its
pronounced emollient and anti-inflammatory properties make it a very used remedy in many diseases of the oropharyngeal cavity and upper respiratory tract (gingivitis, glossitis, canker sores, pharyngitis, laryngitis, esophagitis, dry and harsh cough). It has a high content of hydrocolloid mucilages with a swelling index greater than 10, determined on 0.5g of dry drug. It is used in dermatology for wounds,
burns, scalds, and nonspecific skin irritations.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SIDE EFFECTS
Pharmacological studies do not report toxicity and, at the recommended doses, no significant side effects are reported.
