Nebial 3% KIT is indicated for daily cleaning of the nasal cavities especially in case of cold, rhinitis, sinusitis and in all situations of nasal mucosa congestion.
Nebial 3% KIT allows nebulization of Nebial 3% vials, using the medical device Spray-sol (patented under exclusive license by Buona Spa Società Benefit).
The hypertonic saline solution at 3%, with added hyaluronic acid, contained in the Nebial 3% vials, acts as a decongestant on the nasal mucosa and has a fluidifying effect on mucus. The hyaluronic acid contained in Nebial 3% vials promotes moisturizing of the nasal cavities and makes the saline solution more pleasant. The solution in the single-dose vials can be administered via the Spray-sol nebulizer or also with aerosol therapy.
Spray-sol is a medical device specifically designed for topical treatments of the upper respiratory tract and allows rapid administration of solutions through nebulization in particles of size between 10 and 20 microns, suitable for the treatment of the upper airways.
Thanks to its specially designed shape, it fits ergonomically into the child's nostril, but can also be used by adults.
Ingredients
Nebial 3% vials: sodium chloride, sodium hyaluronate, disodium potassium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, water.
Does not contain preservatives.
Directions for use
To properly use Nebial 3% KIT, it is necessary to:
Detach a single-dose vial and warm it in your hands before administering the solution;
open the vial by turning the cap, connect it to the syringe included in the package and draw up the solution to be nebulized;
screw the syringe, filled with the solution, onto the designated nozzle of Spray-sol;
in infants and young children (under 3 years and in any case depending on cooperation level) it is necessary to perform the wash while lying on one side, keeping the head reclined to one side and gently inserting Spray-sol into the upper nostril. Press the plunger of the syringe firmly to nebulize the solution;
in older children and adults, lean the torso forward with the head slightly tilted to one side and insert Spray-sol into the upper nostril. Press the syringe plunger to nebulize the solution;
repeat the same operations for the other nostril, trying to distribute the solution evenly between the two nostrils, during the treatment the nebulized solution may drip from the nose;
after each use, store the Spray-sol nebulizer, syringe, cannula needle, and syringe cover in the appropriate container after thoroughly washing and drying them.
It is recommended to follow the following usage frequency:
Infants: instill a few drops in each nostril, several times a day, usually before feeding or sleeping.
Children and Adults: 1-3 washes per nostril, 2-3 times a day.
Warnings
The Nebial 3% solution is not injectable.
Use the product exclusively for its intended purpose.
In children under 6 years old and in case of concomitant drug therapy, use upon medical advice.
In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor.
Do not use if known incompatibility or allergy to any component of the preparation.

The use of Nebial 3% vials is not recommended in case of nasal mucosa lesions and abrasions or predisposition to nosebleeds.
When using the solution for aerosol, follow the device instructions.
Nebial 3% KIT must be stored away from light and heat sources (do not store the solution in the fridge).
After use, immediately reseal the vial: the contents of the vial must be used within 12 hours after the first opening. Do not use if the container is damaged.
The expiration date indicated refers to the product in its intact and properly stored condition.
Before each use, check that the syringe, Spray-sol, and cannula needle are not damaged; if damaged, do not use them for nebulization.
Use the Spray-sol nebulizer as long as the mechanical integrity and ability to nebulize the solution are maintained. It is advisable not to use Spray-sol and syringe beyond 6 months from first use.
The use of Spray-sol by children or non-autonomous persons must be supervised by an adult who has read these instructions.
Spray-sol is intended for use by one patient, but can be used multiple times. Therefore, thorough cleaning after each use is very important to ensure optimal operation and durability.
Rinse Spray-sol under warm running water, optionally adding a drop of neutral (non-abrasive) soap. Before storing, dry Spray-sol with a soft cloth.
Wash under running water the syringe, cannula needle, and syringe cover, and ensure all components are completely dry before storing them inside the customizable container.
Do not use Buona spray-sol before 3 months of age.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Storage
Nebial 3% KIT must be stored away from light and heat sources (do not store the solution in the fridge).
Validity if unopened: 36 months.
Validity after opening: 12 hours.
