Description
Special medical food in powder form, nutritionally complete capable of meeting the nutritional needs of children from 0 to 36 months of age in case of cow's milk protein allergy.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO contains hydrolyzed proteins (casein hydrolysate) for better digestibility and improved tolerance. NOVALAC Allernova PRO contains a unique, patented blend of thickeners that combines the qualities of starch and dietary fibers.

Instructions for use
Always wash your hands before preparing the bottle.
Clean and sterilize the bottle, the nipple, and all materials used. Bring water to a boil for 5 minutes and allow to cool until reaching a temperature of 40°C, or heat mineral water (from a freshly opened bottle) to 40°C. Pour the necessary amount of water into the bottle. Add the correct amount of Novalac powder using the scoop included in the package. Level each scoop with a dry, clean knife without pressing the powder. Close the bottle using the hard plastic cap and shake until the powder is completely dissolved, avoiding lump formation. Remove the cap and apply the sterilized nipple to the bottle. Allow to cool until reaching a temperature of 37°C. Check the temperature of the bottle by placing a drop of the product on your wrist. Use immediately.

Reconstitution (13.5%): 1 level and unpressed scoop (4.5 g) for every 30 ml of water. Use only the scoop provided with the product. The number of meals should be adjusted to the infant's appetite as advised by the doctor.

Breast milk is the best food for infants. If it is not possible to use or if breast milk is insufficient, infant formula may only be used under the advice of a doctor.
Inadequate preparation and storage of any infant formula could pose health risks.
Use exclusively under medical supervision and only in children exhibiting the symptoms for which the product is intended.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO can be used as the sole source of nutrition up to six months of the baby's life if breastfeeding is not possible. After the sixth month, as advised by the doctor, NOVALAC Allernova PRO will be integrated into a diversified diet. However, it is essential to carefully follow the doctor's recommendations regarding dietary diversification. It is especially recommended to delay the introduction of potentially allergenic foods such as eggs, fish, or meat.
Do not introduce, without medical advice, products containing milk proteins into the child's diet (milk cereal flours, dairy products...).
NOVALAC Allernova PRO should not be taken in case of glucose-galactose malabsorption.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO contains phenylalanine.
Do not use after the date indicated on the package.
Close the jar after each use with the plastic lid.
Do not prepare the bottle in advance but always just before the meal. Each meal should be consumed within an hour of preparation.
The product should not be reused when it remains in the bottle after feeding. Discard the remaining quantity.
Given its particular composition, NOVALAC Allernova PRO has a typical appearance, smell, and taste, different from those of classic infant formulas.
NOVALAC Allernova PRO may naturally contain lighter aggregates made of dietary fibers that do not compromise the quality of the product.
The consumption of this product may cause the appearance of greener and less firm stools compared to a classic formula, but without causing discomfort to the infant.
Do not use the bottle as a pacifier.
Do not add sugar.
The product should not be administered parenterally.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and contamination.
Validity in intact packaging: 36 months.
Validity after opening: 3 weeks.
