NutriZym® is a dietary supplement based on enzymes produced by fermenting maltodextrins from specific fungi of the genus Aspergillus, which are capable of producing a broad spectrum of enzymes very similar to those produced by the human pancreas: amylase, protease, lactase, lipase, endo-glucanase, and acid maltase, for the final breakdown of maltose, one of the main disaccharides produced by starch digestion. NutriZym® also contains the enzyme Alpha-Galactosidase, which can enhance digestive function regarding dairy products and legumes, promoting gas reduction and a flat stomach.

NutriZym® is enriched with specific liver herbs (Milk Thistle, Dandelion), useful for stimulating bile salt production and detoxifying the liver; it also contains Klamin® extract from Klamath algae, useful not only as a prebiotic but also as a powerful digestive due to its supply of phenylethylamine. It has been observed that one of the areas with the highest number of phenylethylamine receptors is the pylorus, and when PEA attaches to these receptors, it increases gastrin production, which in turn induces greater production of hydrochloric acid and pancreatic enzymes.

In total, a blend of broad-spectrum and high-concentration digestive enzymes, capable of performing significant pre-digestion of food in the cardiac portion of the stomach (where food remains for almost 40 minutes apparently without any input of acids, salts, or enzymes). The enzymes produced by fungi are particularly effective, not only because they are maximally active at typical human body temperatures but also because stomach acids do not destroy them, merely suspending their action, and they resume working alongside pancreatic enzymes in the duodenum. This generates a wide range of effects:

- better digestion of food, especially proteins, which prevents the formation of indigestible macromolecules that, once reaching the intestine, compromise the intestinal membrane, contributing to the development of that pathological systemic cause defined as "leaky gut," a condition of continuous generation of circulating antigens, and consequent Circulating Immune Complexes, which is the basis of the current explosion of autoimmune diseases.

- The reduction of the phenomenon of digestive leukocytosis: it has been observed that the introduction of poorly digested or undigested food into the stomach, in addition to hyper-activation of the pancreas, generates hyper-immune production. This induces both acute and chronic effects: each meal, generating immune alteration, makes us more prone to developing colds or respiratory disorders; in the medium to long term, if the pancreas is stressed by too much effort during the digestive phase, it will become chronically less efficient in its immune activity, with significant general pathological consequences.

This is why maintaining adequate digestion, through the use of NutriZym®, is not only important to reduce the immediate discomforts of poor digestion (flatulence, acidity, etc.), but it is essential to keep both the gastrointestinal tract and the immune system in order, the two fundamental roots of our health.

How to Use:

1-2 capsules with each meal to aid digestion. Add 1 capsule twice a day, away from meals, for the treatment of food intolerances and allergic syndromes.
