Description
Nasal kit that allows, thanks to the RINOREX NEBULIZER NASAL device, the nebulization of RINOREX FLU SHOWER, an isotonic saline solution with controlled pH with N-acetylcysteine.
RINOREX FLU SHOWER, thanks to its osmotic action, promotes mucociliary transport. It is indicated in all rhinopharyngeal conditions characterized by congestion and altered mucociliary clearance. Helps keep the nose clear, reduces dryness by gently moisturizing the surface. Helps to regulate nasal secretions and to prevent the formation and build-up of bacterial biofilm.
For use exclusively in the inhalation therapy of the upper respiratory tract.
RINOREX FLU SHOWER can be used to dilute medications, in this case strictly follow the instructions on the packaging of the medication to be diluted.
Thanks to its specially designed shape, it fits ergonomically to the nostrils of children and adults.

Usage instructions
Rinse with RINOREX NEBULIZER NASAL half a vial per nostril 1-2 times a day or more often, as needed or as directed by a doctor.

Direct irrigation
Detach a single-dose viallet and open it by breaking the cap with a rotational movement. Remove the piston from the syringe and empty the viallet into it. Reinsert the piston, removing the air.
In children (depending on the level of cooperation) it is necessary to perform the washes lying on their side, keeping the head tilted to one side and gently inserting the tip of the RINOREX NEBULIZER NASAL into the upper nostril. Press firmly on the syringe piston to nebulize the solution.
In older children and adults, insert the tip of the RINOREX NEBULIZER NASAL into one nostril, keeping the torso upright and not tilting the head. Inhale and simultaneously press the syringe piston firmly to nebulize the solution.
Leave the syringe piston before exhaling. Repeat the operation in the previous point for the other nostril, trying to divide the solution equally between the two nostrils.
Before storing the kit, rinse the RINOREX NEBULIZER NASAL under running water.

Inhalation therapy
RINOREX FLU DO Shower vials can also be used in upper airway inhalation therapy: in this case, nasal douches must be used as inhaler devices.

Components
Each RINOREX FLU SHOWER vial contains: aqua, sodium chloride, acetyl cysteine, sodium bicarbonate, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, potassium sorbate, sodium dehydroacetate, disodium EDTA, Mentha aroma.

Precautions
Use the product for inhalation therapy only for the upper airways.
Not to be used in children under 2 years of age. Keep out of reach and sight of children to prevent incorrect use of the product.
Warning: this product contains small parts that could be ingested.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Not intended for oral use. Not injectable.
The vial is single-dose, non-reclosable, and non-reusable once opened.
RINOREX FLU NASAL SHOWER, once the vial is opened, has a sulfurous smell characteristic of the product.
Do not use in case of ongoing and/or recent epistaxis, or if nasal mucosa is not intact. In some cases, nebulization may cause a mild and transient feeling of local irritation.
RINOREX NEBULIZER NASAL is intended for a single patient but can be reused for multiple nebulizations. Clean the RINOREX NEBULIZER NASAL before each use.
Nasal shower devices should only spray the upper airways; if the product is inhaled into the lower airways, it could cause bronchospasms in patients with bronchial asthma; in such cases, immediately discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
Due to the presence of NAC, it is advisable to use glass and plastic devices, as NAC can chemically react with certain materials (rubber, iron, copper).
Use of the RINOREX FLU NASAL SHOWER KIT by children or non-self-sufficient persons must be supervised by an adult who has read the instructions.
Do not use if you have individual hypersensitivity to any of the components.
Do not use beyond the expiration date or if the package is open or damaged.
Do not use if contaminated after opening.
Failure to observe the warnings and instructions for use may impair the product’s effectiveness or cause worsening of existing problems, as well as trigger issues that did not exist before.
Prolonged use may lead to sensitization phenomena: if this occurs, stop treatment and consult a doctor to establish appropriate therapy.
Do not use if hypersensitive to the components of the product.
If adverse effects, not listed on the leaflet, occur, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage
Store at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
The expiration date applies to the product in its intact and properly stored condition.
Post-opening validity: 6 months.

Form
The kit contains:
- RINOREX FLU SHOWER: 10 vials of 10 ml;
- RINOREX NEBULIZER NASAL: medical device for nebulization, including a nasal dispenser and a 5 ml Luer Lock syringe, non-sterile.
