Symptomatic treatment of constipation. Promotes peristalsis, helping to have adequate bowel movements, thus counteracting constipation and preventing the formation of fecaliths.
Macrogol is an inert, water-soluble polymer with a high molecular weight that has the ability to bind water used for ingestion, retaining it in the stool. It causes rehydration and softening of the fecal mass and facilitates its evacuation. Accelerates intestinal transit by supporting peristalsis. It is neither absorbed nor metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract and does not cause electrolyte imbalances when taken with the recommended dose of liquid.

Method of use
Use the measuring cup included in the package to dose the powder: fill it level without pressing, then remove excess product with a knife blade.

- Adults and children over 12 years: from 2 to 10 level scoops per day. The dose should be increased or decreased based on individual response to treatment, in order to allow regular soft stool evacuation. The maximum necessary dose usually does not exceed 10 scoops per day. Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (50 ml per scoop) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning if the minimum dose (2 scoops per day) is required. For higher doses, split intake between morning and evening. If no improvement is observed after 7 days of treatment, consult a doctor.

- Children aged between 6 months and 12 years: the dose should be increased or decreased based on individual response, to allow regular soft stool evacuation. The maximum necessary dose usually does not exceed 4 scoops per day. Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (50 ml per scoop) and take immediately. It is recommended to administer the product in the morning if 1 scoop per day is to be taken. For higher doses, split intake between morning and evening. If no improvement is observed after 7 days of treatment, consult a doctor.

Warnings
Administration in children must be carried out under direct supervision of an adult. It is recommended to use the product in pediatric age after consulting a doctor
Do not use if the package appears open or damaged.
Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The product may reduce the time spent in the intestine and consequently the absorption of oral medications. It is therefore advised to consult a doctor if taking oral medicines concurrently, which should in any case be administered at least 2 hours apart.
In case of adverse reactions, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not take in case of:
- known hypersensitivity to one or more components;
- perforation, bowel obstruction, or stenosis;
- paralytic ileum;
- severe inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g., ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, toxic megacolon).
Laxatives are contraindicated if acute or unexplained abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, rectal bleeding of unknown origin, or severe dehydration are present.
Some gastrointestinal disturbances may occur (stomach pain, flatulence, abdominal bloating, nausea, and fecal incontinence).
Diarrhea is a secondary effect of taking excessive doses of Sanipeg and can be avoided by reducing the dose.
Rare cases of hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash) have been reported following the use of products containing macrogol. In such cases, stop treatment and consult a doctor.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and heat sources. Close the container tightly after use.
The expiration date refers to the product stored properly.
Shelf life when the package is intact: 36 months.
