SEPTOSTIL
Hydrating, epithelial-protective, soothing, and lubricating ophthalmic solution.
Sterile aqueous hydrogel containing: polyvinyl alcohol, with lubricating, hydrating, viscoelastic, mucus-adhesive, protective action; dexpanthenol, homolog of pantothenic acid, belonging to the B vitamin group, tissue-nourishing vitamin, epithelial-protective; disetionato esamide, chlorinated polyisaneide, and disodium edetate with protective action.
Thanks to the properties of its components, the product is indicated as an adjunct in the corneal healing process, especially after stress or physical insults.
The presence of antiseptics in the formulation ensures the sterility of the ophthalmic solution after the first opening of the vial, promoting protection of the ocular tissues from irritation. In the product, the concentration of polyvinyl alcohol (1.25%) has been specifically studied to ensure the hydrogel has rheological characteristics similar to tear fluid and an effective adhesive property on the ocular mucosa with lubricating, hydrating, protective effects without causing visual impairment. This hydrogel also ensures prolonged retention of the components on the ocular mucosa, enhancing its nourishing-vitamin action, and supporting re-epithelialization.
Methylsulfonylmethane present among the formulation excipients, a substance containing biologically available sulfur, facilitates superficial absorption of dexpanthenol due to activation of cellular permeability. It is an aqueous colloidal liquid characterized by the following chemical-physical features: it is perfectly transparent and colorless; it is miscible with tear fluid in all proportions; it has pH, viscosity, and osmolarity values perfectly compatible with ocular tissues and tear fluid, thus having a high degree of tolerability.
Directions for use
Instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the eye, applying gentle pressure on the body of the vial. It is advisable to repeat the procedure 2-3 or more times a day. When used in combination with other eye drops, it is advisable to use them at different times to prevent mutual dilution.
Ingredients
Polyvinyl alcohol 1.25%, dexpanthenol, disetionato esamide 0.050%, chlorinated polyisaneide 0.0001%, disodium methylsulfonylmethane edetate, disodium phosphate, monobasic potassium phosphate, purified water.
Warnings
External use. For veterinary use only. Do not let the dropper tip contact any surface to avoid contaminating the solution. Do not touch the eye with the dropper tip. Do not use if eye infections are present. Do not use simultaneously with other eye drops. Close the bottle tightly after use. Do not use any remaining product. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the packaging. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Do not use in case of subjective hypersensitivity or known incompatibility with any component of the preparation.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature between 2°C and 25°C.

The partnered courier GLS will collect the goods purchased on pillolastore.com from the OMEOSEI Srl warehouse. The delivery address is specified during the order confirmation (checkout) by the customer. Please fill in the destination details correctly to avoid failed deliveries or storage issues.
Shipping Costs
