Dietary supplement of α-lactalbumin, useful when the intestine, worn down by stress, medications, and food additives, fails to extract all the tryptophan necessary for serotonin synthesis from the diet.The bioavailability of alpha-lactalbumin is maximum: the entire dose taken orally is rapidly broken down into peptides, which are completely absorbed by the gastrointestinal system. A peculiar characteristic of this protein is its high tryptophan content, the unique precursor of serotonin. Alpha-lactalbumin is the whey protein most present in breast milk; in colostrum it even represents 40% of the proteins. Its actions at the intestinal level are fundamental for the brain development of the newborn. Indeed, brain development depends on the availability of brain serotonin. A very recent study1 shows that repeated daily oral intakes of alpha-lactalbumin are able to increase brain serotonin synthesis; acting, therefore, in a completely natural way and without any side effects. Alpha-lactalbumin increases brain serotonin synthesis.
Ingredients
Each tablet contains 0.75 g of ultrapure alpha-lactalbumin extracted from cow's milk.
Dosage
It is recommended to take 2-3 tablets a day spaced throughout the day, on an empty stomach and at least half an hour before protein meals. The simultaneous or close intake of carbohydrates does not interfere with the absorption of alpha-lactalbumin.
Warnings
It has no contraindications or side effects, does not contain lactose or other whey proteins, responsible for milk allergies. It is also suitable for individuals affected by lactose intolerance, celiac disease, or diabetes.
If the product is taken with other proteins (for example: meats, milk, or dairy products), these precipitate in the stomach and can trap some of the alpha-lactalbumin, reducing its efficacy. Instead, alpha-lactalbumin does not precipitate in the stomach and is completely absorbed after 20 minutes.

The partnered courier GLS will collect the goods purchased on pillolastore.com from the OMEOSEI Srl warehouse. The delivery address is specified during the order confirmation (checkout) by the customer. Please fill in the destination details correctly to avoid failed deliveries or storage issues.
