Protection, hydration, and lubrication of the eyes in the treatment of dry eye syndrome, of moderate to severe severity.

COMPOSITION:
Trealose: 3 g
Sodium hyaluronate: 0.15 g
Sodium chloride, Tromethamine, Hydrochloric acid, Water for injectable preparations: per 100ml

INDICATIONS:
Contains a solution to be administered by instillation into the eye or on contact lenses.
Suitable for discomfort, burning, or irritation of the eyes. These symptoms can be caused by external factors such as wind, smoke, pollution, dust, sun or cold exposure, dry heat, air conditioning, air travel, prolonged computer work, etc.
Contains no preservatives and offers optimal respect for ocular tissues: therefore, it can also be used by contact lens wearers, regardless of lens type. Provides rapid relief that lasts all day.

PROPERTIES:
Hypotonic aqueous ophthalmic solution with a neutral pH, preservative-free. The main ingredients are trehalose, a disaccharide, and sodium hyaluronate, a polysaccharide.
The chemical-physical properties of trehalose confer protective, antioxidant, and hydrating properties to the product.
Trehalose also has protective and stabilizing properties for cell membranes, preventing protein denaturation and lipid degradation, as well as antioxidant properties.
Sodium hyaluronate is a polysaccharide with water-retention properties.
Its notable water-retention properties provide high hydration and lubrication of the corneal surface. Additionally, its bioadhesive characteristics allow high adhesion of the product to the ocular surface, providing long-lasting relief and shortening corneal epithelium healing times.
Thanks to the combination of Trealose and Sodium Hyaluronate, it protects, hydrates, and lubricates the ocular surface for quick comfort.
Contains no preservatives thanks to the ABAK multidose vial.
This new device allows the administration of eye drops through a 0.2 µm filter membrane, which prevents bacterial contamination of the solution. The solution remains protected and can be used for up to 12 weeks after opening.

SPECIAL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
- Do not use if allergic to any component.
- Do not touch the eye surface with the tip of the vial.
- Do not inject or swallow.
- Do not use the product if the protective ring is damaged.
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.

INTERACTIONS:
In case of application of two different ophthalmic products, an interval of at least 10 minutes is recommended.

METHOD AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
EYE INSTILLATION.
- Wash hands thoroughly before use
- Avoid touching the eyes or eyelids with the tip of the vial, especially if you suspect an eye infection
- Instill one drop into the lower conjunctival sac, gently pulling down the lower eyelid and looking upward.
- Replace the cap after use.

DOSAGE:
1 drop into each eye, 4-6 times a day.
Can also be used while wearing contact lenses.

UNWANTED SIDE EFFECTS (ADVERSE EFFECTS):
Rare possibility of mild eye irritation.

STORAGE OF THE PRODUCT:
After opening, do not keep the vial for more than 3 months.
Store the product at a temperature below 25°C.
The expiration date refers to the product in the intact and properly stored package.
Do not use the vial if it is damaged.
