Description
Yabro Spray-sol allows the nebulization of the Yabro vial, through the Spray-sol device.
Spray-sol is a medical device specifically designed for topical treatments of the nasal and sinus cavities, and allows rapid administration of the solution via nebulization in particles ranging from 10 to 20 microns, ideal for upper airway therapy. Thanks to its conical shape, Spray-sol fits ergonomically into the nostril of adults and children.
Yabro Spray-sol is indicated as an adjunct in the treatment of upper respiratory tract conditions such as: tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, rhinosinusitis, sinusitis, rhinitis, tracheitis, both in acute and chronic phases; hoarseness; inflammation of the vocal cords with or without dysphonia; in improving the restoration of mucosal functionality in the postoperative phase of endonasal surgeries.
Yabro Spray-sol adds to and does not replace other therapeutic treatments potentially prescribed to patients.
Hyaluronic acid is universally recognized as the main molecular component of the extracellular matrix. In the respiratory system, it is synthesized by the fibroblasts of the nasopharynx and pulmonary interstitium, by the glands of the tracheobronchial submucosa, and by goblet cells of the lining epithelium, which add it to the mucus that coats and protects the airways. Thanks to this distribution, hyaluronic acid plays a central role in respiratory physiology by intervening in multiple homeostatic mechanisms.
Nebulized hyaluronic acid penetrates quickly and integrates into the pulmonary interstitium, preventing the diffusion of macromolecules and regulating the migration of cell populations involved in inflammatory reactions. Its high hydrophilicity also allows it to hydrate the entire respiratory tree, facilitating the removal of catabolites and allergens. Thanks to its ability to integrate into the glycoprotein component that covers the pre-respiratory mucosa, it intervenes in the regulation of mucociliary clearance by interfering with potential allergenic or inflammatory disrupting factors, whether environmental or endogenous.

Components
Each vial contains: sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid sodium salt), water, sodium chloride.

Method of use
It is recommended to use 1 vial of 5 ml once or twice a day according to medical advice, for a period not less than 2 weeks.

Open the single-dose vial by breaking the long neck along the marked line. Screw the needle securely onto the luer lock of the syringe, both included in the package, and draw the solution to be nebulized. Unscrew the needle and, after capping it, store it in the appropriate container. Insert the filled syringe into the Spray-sol inlet nozzle. Secure the syringe by screwing the luer lock onto Spray-sol’s inlet nozzle. Insert the Spray-sol dispenser into one nostril to prepare for nebulization. During nebulization, keep the torso upright and do not tilt your head in any direction. Inhale and press the piston of the syringe firmly to nebulize the solution, taking care to distribute evenly the solution in the syringe between the two nostrils. Release the syringe piston before exhaling. Repeat the operations for the other nostril.

Cleaning Spray-sol: Spray-sol is intended for use by a single patient but can be used multiple times. Therefore, proper cleaning of the device after each use is very important to ensure its durability and proper functioning. Wash Spray-sol under warm running water, optionally with a small amount of mild (non-abrasive) soap or wash in a dishwasher with a hot cycle. Before storing Spray-sol, dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth or a burst of hot air.

Warnings
Do not use Yabro Spray-sol after the expiration date printed on the package.
Do not use Yabro Spray-sol if the packaging is open or damaged.
For correct use of Yabro Spray-sol, the patient must maintain an upright position. Do not tilt the head in any direction, nor lie down to use Yabro Spray-sol.
Yabro vials are sterile and intended for single use only. Do not reuse to avoid any risk of contamination and do not sterilize again. Once opened, Yabro vials must be used immediately and disposed of after use.
Before each use, check that the Spray-sol device is not damaged; if Spray-sol is damaged, do not use it to perform nebulization.
Spray-sol is intended for use by a single patient but can be reused for multiple nebulizations. To reuse, follow the cleaning instructions. The Spray-sol device should be used for no more than 100 administrations and for no longer than one month.
The needle and syringe are meant for multiple use. After each use, cap the needle and store it together with the syringe in the appropriate container.
The use of Yabro Spray-sol in children or non-self-sufficient persons should be supervised by an adult who has read these instructions.
Yabro Spray-sol is an additional treatment and does not replace other treatments prescribed by your Doctor.
It is advisable to consult your Doctor before using Yabro Spray-sol.
Smoking impairs the protective effect of hyaluronic acid on alveolar function.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Spray-sol is a device not suitable for use with flammable anesthetic mixture with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
The product must not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or other components. If side effects occur, it is recommended to stop treatment and consult your Doctor.

Storage
Store in a dry place, at a temperature between 0°C and 25°C.
Keep away from hot surfaces and protect from sunlight.
Do not freeze.
Shelf life when the package is intact: 36 months.
