Description
Medical device in the form of chewable tablets, primarily characterized by the combination of 3 elements: calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide and simethicone.
Once the product reaches the gastroesophageal lumen, it neutralizes the pH of gastric juices and acidic vapors, exerting a protective and soothing action on the gastroesophageal mucosa. This allows ZENTIVA ACID REFLUX to act quickly against stomach pains and burning caused by hyperacidity. The presence of simethicone, a substance capable of reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles present in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their expulsion, reduces the sensation of bloating and abdominal distension.
Indicated for the treatment of burning and stomach pain caused by excess acidity and for the treatment of symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux.
The product is also useful for indigestion, burning and heaviness (symptoms associated with dyspepsia).
Pleasant chamomile taste.

Ingredients
Calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, simethicone, sorbitol, sodium citrate, magnesium stearate, chamomile aromatic extract, hydroxypropylcellulose, maltodextrin, silica, sucralose.
Gluten-free.
Lactose-free.

Directions for use
Adults and children over 12 years: it is recommended to take one tablet as needed (if symptoms of burning and/or pain are felt) after main meals and before bedtime. Chew thoroughly before swallowing.
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 4 tablets per day.

Warnings
Product not intended for use in children under 12 years.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components.
If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
The product may interfere with the absorption of oral medicines. Therefore, it is recommended to consult a doctor if taking oral medications at the same time, which should in any case be administered at least 2 hours apart. Do not use the product for more than 2 weeks. If further treatment is necessary, consult a doctor.
This product contains approximately 28 mg of sodium, approximately 333 mg of calcium, and approximately 50 mg of magnesium per single dose (equivalent to 1 tablet of 2.4 g).
Do not use in case of kidney diseases or dysfunctions. Consult a doctor in case of hypercalcemia (high calcium levels in the blood), hypermagnesemia (high magnesium levels in the blood), nephrocalcinosis, and recurrent kidney stones containing calcium.
After taking the product, mild and transient side effects may occur, such as bloating, abdominal pain, burping, flatulence, and constipation. Following the instructions for use reduces the risk of unwanted side effects. There are no contraindications in pregnancy and breastfeeding, but it is advisable to seek medical advice before use.
Do not use if the package is open or damaged, or if there are visible alterations in the appearance of the tablets.
Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Storage
Keep out of reach and sight of children. The product should be stored at a temperature between 8°C and 25°C, in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. The expiration date refers to the product in intact and properly stored packaging.
Shelf life with intact packaging: 24 months.
Do not keep parts of a tablet for later use. Do not dispose of the product in wastewater or household waste. Ask the pharmacist how to dispose of unused products. This helps protect the environment.
